Jeni is the Director for Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the University of Michigan, where she directs a portfolio of programs and courses in social innovation, including the optiMize Social Innovation Challenge - the largest student-led social innovation university incubator program - engaging students in self-directed ventures focused on a more just and sustainable world. Over her career at the University of Michigan, some of Jeni’s professional accomplishments include co-founding the Advising Council, launching the university’s Entrepreneurship Minor, and formalizing and institutionalizing the Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship unit in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts. She has experience in entrepreneurship curriculum and program development, organizational strategy, and student development. Jeni is delighted to serve on Everstory’s Board as it aligns with her values of education, innovation and youth empowerment. Jeni also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Northfield Township Area Library, where she serves her town in empowering the community through literacy, information, and technology. Jeni earned her M.Ed in Counselor Education from Clemson University and a B.S. from Grand Valley State University.
