About Everstory

Mission

Everstory exists to offer the world's first free voice and visual encyclopedia for pre-readers.

Vision

We envision a future in which every pre-reader on Earth can freely, safely, and independently:
1) ask, access, and understand evidence-based, neutral-point-of-view answers to their questions,
2) use their voice and visuals to explore their curiosity,
3) “rabbit-hole” while browsing information, starting with their interests and continuing to expand their learning with pertinent, connected information, and
4) share what they are asking, searching, exploring, and learning with others.

For future generations, Everstory envisions increased cross-cultural empathy, common awareness and understanding, and peaceful global collaboration.

Core Values

Access – Every person is curious. Now is the best time to learn. Access makes learning happen.

Inclusion – Every person has knowledge to contribute and knowledge to learn. Inclusive design enriches the collection and exchange of knowledge.

Autonomy – Every person has their own unique interests, ways of pursuing learning, and ways of navigating how they discover, intake, analyze, process, connect, and share information. Offering access to a diverse variety of learning opportunities that individuals can control independently celebrates their autonomy.

Neutral-Point-of-View- A balance of evidence and objectivity are both important and potent.

Accuracy - Every person deserves the opportunity to access trustworthy information. Rigorous content contribution standards including evidence-based, peer-reviewed research sources provide strong foundations for trustworthy content in context.

Empathy – Every person is part of a shared human narrative and heritage; considering others’ experiences supports collective learning and collective intelligence.
